What information we collect

When you fill in a form, book a call, or reach out to us, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your company name and website URL (if provided)
• Information about your business and project needs (from contact forms and project briefs)
• Payment information: processed securely through Stripe, PayPal, Payoneer, or Wise. We never see or store your full card details.
• Any other information you choose to share with us in emails or calls

Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

• Basic analytics data: pages visited, time on site, approximate location (country/city), device type, and referral source. Collected via Google Analytics.
• Cookies: small files stored in your browser that help the site function and allow us to understand how visitors use the site. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, and operating system. Collected by Hostinger (our hosting provider) in server logs.

Why we collect it, and the legal basis

Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We only share data with these services to the extent necessary for the purposes described above.

How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that don’t become projects: We keep your contact details for up to 12 months, then delete them unless you’ve asked us to stay in touch.
• Client project data: Retained for 5 years after project completion for legal and accounting purposes, then securely deleted.
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
• Marketing email subscribers: Until you unsubscribe. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Analytics data: As per Google Analytics default retention settings (14 months).

International data transfers

The Complete Studio is based in India. Some of the third-party tools we use (including Google Analytics, Calendly, and Mailchimp) are based in the United States and may transfer data internationally. Where we share data with services outside India, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

If you are located in the UK or European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR (described below). We handle your data in compliance with these obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we’ll remove you within 5 business days and won’t contact you for marketing purposes again.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include using secure, password-protected systems, limiting access to personal data to those who need it, and using encrypted payment processing through our payment partners.

No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you promptly.

Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the ‘last updated’ date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
